My Story
Ryoko isn’t afraid of a challenge, and she loves to make the impossible happen. Whether she’s psyching herself up to ski down the black diamond slopes or introducing a talented candidate to a new role that they hadn’t previously considered, she knows how to take a leap of faith.
Her shyness is an asset because it allows her to listen critically, let others speak freely, and truly understand their story. She is consistently recommended by clients and called back on to help with delicate situations, including replacing incumbent leadership roles or salvaging positions with a poor reputation.
Ryoko is fully fluent in English and Japanese. From her time as the first foreign local hire for a German global pharma in Canada, to her 15 years of recruiting for mid-senior healthcare positions in Japan and Asia Pacific, she has encyclopedic expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. Outside of work, Ryoko is also a proud mom of two girls, an avid explorer, and enjoys her whiskey.
